Academics
A Platform to Expedite your Research
We offer a SaaS research platform, made efficient through cloud technologies, inherent spatio-temporality, automation, modular, and extensibility. Automation is brought through data ingestion, GIS overlays, and goal driven analysis. Modular design enables the platform to be extensible and adhere quickly to new requirements. These inherent capabilities will expedite research through reducing manual involvement, special scripts, and manual use of multiple systems.
Benefits of using Holos
Use science models and/or AI models to
Assess impact of current practices on soil health and environment using tracked metrics
- Nitrogen metrics: remaining nitrogen, nitrogen leached (“wasted”, groundwater pollution), N2O emitted
- Carbon metrics: soil organic carbon, CO2 emitted
Conduct In silica evaluation of adaptive regenerative practices, while maximizing productivity
- Nitrogen and carbon metrics with field under practices including but not limited to: Crop only (baseline), live mulch, reduced/no tilling, inter crop, cover crop
- Region and season based trend analysis of practices to identify optimal practices
- Augment field trials
Understand the impact of climate change and identify adaptive strategies: using generic climate models (eg., CMIP6)
- Regional level, multi epoch, multi pathway impact studies of how climate change could impact crop production
- Identify and evaluate adaptations (planting dates, nitrogen applications, etc) to secure productivity.
- Remote Sensed crop growth/stress estimation for use in your research projects (eg., fertilizer application).
Ready to use Datasets
- If you use DSSAT, we have curated localized input data (weather, soil, management practices) to make your simulations closer to reality
- If you would like to analyse crop simulations, use our localized simulated results based on our curated input data sets.
Collaborative Partnerships
Our solutions are built through research collaborations. Currently, we are engaged with premier agricultural universities such as TNAU, TAMU, and UCD. We are engaged with TAMU on a climate smart cotton project that has been made possible by a grant from the USDA-NIFA Sustainable Agricultural Systems – Coordinated Agricultural Projects Program (Award #: 2024-68012-41750). We would love to partner with you to:
- Productize academic models for public use.
- Productise research work into Holos as product level features for mutual benefits.
- Help you with any projects you may have, as a service provider.
